We have tried a number of fresh pico de gallo recipes. This is our favorite.
8 – 10 roma tomatoes (other varieties work too–it’s just more juicy)
3 tsp. cumin powder (+/- to taste)
1 large onion
1 – 2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp .pepper
1/2 jalapeno pepper (take out seeds and ribs)
1/2 c. fresh cilantro (+/- to taste)
1 tbs. lemon juice
Put everything in a food processor, blend to preference, and enjoy.
